On Friday, 23rd October enthusiastic students and families put on their walking shoes, caught up with friends and enjoyed walking to school for VicHealth ‘Walk to School’ month. Upon arrival, they were treated to healthy breakfast of fresh fruit and muffins generously provided by the Darebin City Council. Organised by Holy Name’s Sports and Physical Education Leader, Mr Ryan Harnett, students were encouraged to continue to walk to school whenever possible, in order to stay active and promote good health for life. Congratulations to all students for an awesome ‘Walk to School’ Day!
