I was thrilled to take our School Captains, Erin and Nick to the National Young Leaders’ Day at the Melbourne Convention Centre last Monday.
The Captains were given an opportunity to listen to a number of presenters who have overcome many challenges to achieve their goals. They learned about the characteristics of leadership and hopefully they are inspired to become better leaders.
The Captains were challenged in many ways to think big and to take small steps to achieve goals. They were constantly reminded that sometimes we make mistakes and that’s ok, provided we learn from them and more importantly to keep persevering.
The School Captains will provide a report for the next newsletter in Term 2.
