Congratulations to the 46 students who competed in the Australian Mathematics Competition. This is the first year Holy Name Primary School has participated in this competition and it was great to see so many students participating. Overall Holy Name Primary School had 46 students participate from Grade 3-6. One student was awarded a High Distinction (top 3% in the state), seven students were awarded a Distinction (top 20% in the state) and nineteen students were awarded a Credit (top 55% in the state).

Congratulations to Marcus in Grade 4 who achieved the highest score in the school and was awarded a High Distinction. This means his result was in the top 3% of the state. We are so proud of your achievements and hope you continue your love for Mathematics.
