Our Grade 5/6 students spent three days at the beautiful Phillip Island Adventure resort for their camp. While we had to brave some inclement weather we managed to get through all the activities planned, from visiting the penguins to flying fox and giant swing activities. Camp is an incredibly valuable experience for all students. They were able to show and use some of our dispositions like risk taking, collaboration, persistence and creativity. All the students were great ambassadors for Holy Name, demonstrating all our school values when interacting with the camp staff, showing respect to both the staff and facilities. It is an enormous effort to plan and organise such a wonderful experience and we cannot forget all the efforts of the staff in making this happen.
