On Wednesday 16th June Holy Name celebrated Italian Day. After rescheduling the day as a result of being in lock down, the school was able to come alive with the colours of red, white and green and happy and excited students. The morning began with a parade with each class sharing their costumes. Our wonderful Parents and Friends supported the school with a hot food day lunch of Pizza and Gelato which was ‘delicioso’ as they say in Italian. After lunch students participated in song and dance as a whole school in the hall. We finished off the day in our House groups creating Italian flags, our very own gelato ice creams and also a Leaning Tower of Pisa. Special thanks to our Italian teacher, Mrs Bregu for organising a wonderful and fun day for both the children and the teachers.
