Holy Name students were involved in various activities celebrating Catholic Education Week. We were very proud to have a selection of our student’s work chosen to be on display at the Visual Arts Exhibition. The exhibition featured over 270 works created by Catholic primary and secondary students and was open to the public for viewing. The students were thrilled at viewing their professionally mounted artwork on display.
Sienna, Year 6, described the excursion below:
“..We entered the world of art, where I stood astounded at what surrounded me. I immediately began looking, making sure I didn’t miss anything. Up and down we went, looking at all the gifted student’s work. I truly was inspired by these designs, and when we left, I was quite sad to leave it’s beauty, I’m so lucky to have my artwork be displayed in a place of dreams… ” Siena B
Thank you to our Visual Arts teacher, Mrs Luisa Vivarelli!
