Students recognized the many contributions made by their incredible mothers in a special tribute afternoon celebrating Mother’s Day. The school community were invited to a prayer service and afternoon tea which was attended by a large number of mothers and grandmothers. The prayer service included a touching paraliturgy giving thanks to all mothers, accompanied by a beautiful power point presentation featuring photographs of many of our school families. An impressive afternoon tea followed, which provided a wonderful opportunity for our school mothers to catch up and socialise with old and new friends.

The following day, students were able to buy their mums a special gift at the Mother’s Day stall organised by the Parents and Friends Association.

This is another example of community partnership at Holy Name Primary School – thank you to all who were involved in the day.
