RESERVOIR DISTRICT BASKETBALL CUP

The Grade 5/6 Basketball team travelled by tram down the road to Darebin Community Sports Stadium to participate in the District Basketball Competition. Our girls team finished fifth overall and our boys team finished fourth overall. The boys team had the chance to draw their finals game with Preston Primary School when Thomas was fouled just before the end. With two free throws and the score 10-8, Thomas made his first shot but unfortunately the second didn’t go to plan. It was a nail biting end to a fantastic day of basketball. Congratulations to all competitors on their exemplary behaviour and sportsmanship.
