SUMMER INTERSCHOOL SPORTS 2019

This year, Holy Name had two teams represented in the Grand Finals of the Preston District Interschool Sports. The Mixed Rounders Team finished on top of the ladder undefeated while the Kanga Cricket B team managed to finish second on the ladder. On the very last Friday of Term 1 both teams played out the Grand Final under perfect conditions but unfortunately their opposition was just too good for them on the day. It was a great opportunity for many of these students to learn and participate in team sports and most of all to have fun together. The most pleasing aspect was to see students who had never played these sports before show so such improvement.
